The melody, the lyrics, the entire song. Really, it just makes me happy, anytime. :)

It especially works when I'm frustrated with a whole lotta stuff, or tired from the trip home, or both. I borrow someone's earphones and block off the world and let the music flood me. And it's a few minutes of peace that makes me feel so much better.

D'you know how tempting it is to just submit a paper with all your sources and say, "Read these, sir, you'll find the answer here."

...Tempting to do that during tests, too. "The answer is in my notebook. Or my textbook. Take your pick." Aren't they the ones asking the questions, anyway? They're the ones who want to know the answer so bad, not us. XD

This is a thank you for more concrete things this time. XDD I want to share the wonderful gifts I got for my birthday, specifically the tare panda from realmeryl16 and the Talecraft cards from riyuji and entity_tama.

(And of course, but you know already how much i love it, my umbrella, ashtun. XD)

Anyways, the Talecraft cards are SUPERCOOOOOL! :D :D :D Is why I wasn't answering your IMs, Yuj. Ash and Carissa and I spent like an hour having fun with those things. :D And I forgot to turn my YM off heehee.

So Talecraft is like a bunch of cards that can be a game of sorts and also help in writing stories. You pick a genre card, two character archetype cards, and six keyword cars. We picked about four times and spent the rest discussing the possible plots. Right now I have a:

A Mystery story with The Siren, The Reclusive Genius and the keywords Cat, Mirror, and Lock of Hair. (For those who know Battlestar Galactica...OMG, was so freaked out when I saw the character cards! XD)

A Sci-Fi/Gothic story with The Evil Albino, The Competent Man, The Dark Lord, and the keywords Blood, Disease, Amulet.

A Romance story with The Pied Piper, The Ingenue, and the plotline Sacrifice, keywords Blackmail, Church, Social Class, Moon, Tomb.

A Sci-Fi/Horror (wth, I'm bad at gothic and horror!) with a Discovery/Rescue plotline, keywords curse, twins, diamond. And The Siren and the Reluctant Hero. :D
